Keep a running inventory of equipment and adaptive technology, track equipment that has been checked out or is due to be returned, and remind students when equipment is due, all using AIM's Equipment Access Module!

From smart pens to Braille displays to assisted listening devices, AIM allows you to easily track equipment’s serial number, value, warranty information, which student has it, and when it’s due or overdue to be returned.

Student Experience

Students will use AIM's Equipment Access Module to:
  • View a list of equipment that is currently checked out to them, as well as previously checked-out equipment.
  • Receive an emailed receipt when equipment has been checked out.
  • Receive automated reminders (if set up by your office) of when equipment is due.

Staff Experience

Staff will use AIM's Equipment Access Module to:
  • Easily maintain a list of all equipment and adaptive technology, including serial number, purchase date, value, warranty expiration, checked-out status, repair status, due date, and more.
  • Check out a specific piece of equipment to a student and send them a receipt of the equipment loan.
  • Remind students when equipment is due to be checked in.
  • Document when equipment is overdue or missing so that appropriate action can be taken.
